Model Town Deewaney: A Theatrical Performance

Model Town Deewaney: A Theatrical Performance takes audiences into the chaotic and entertaining world of Model Town, where Kavya becomes the unexpected center of the desires, dreams and imaginations of five eccentric admirers.

What begins as a playful and humorous musical gradually becomes a thoughtful look at middle-class aspirations, emotional expectations, validation and the way people create their own ideas about others. The performance combines comedy, music and satire to bring these themes to life on stage.

Inspired by Harishankar Parsai’s Ek Haseena Paanch Deewane and Rani Naagfani ki Kahani, the production uses humour and irony to explore the gap between what people expect from love and what actually happens when those expectations become overwhelming.
